This event calendar is awesome. Here is what I like about it.

1. The categorical themes make it really easy to navigate to things that are of interest to you. It covers things from community events, theater and performances, live music , Medford karaoke, dancing, classes, comedy shows, and many more. Which is why I like this event calendar Medford Oregon

2. You can search it. You can search for certain keywords, search for certain cities, or both. This feature is really nice as it is a major time saver. But you don't want to narrow yourself as far as options with this search feature. There is no doubt you will find something that sould like lots of fun.

3. Becasue this is a community calendar everyone is allowed and encouraged to add an event. You do have to be a member in order to post an event, however, your membership is free.

It’s not perfect and we both know there is no such thing as perfect. But there are a couple of features that would be really cool. Hopefully the creaotrs will find this article someday and take my ideas into consideration.

1. It would be nice if there was a notification system. If there are certain types of events that I like I wish I could get notified about them vs. having to check the site all the time. . That way I can plan appropriately. Getting a sitter is tough. But if I was notified way ahead of time it would be much easier. Now, this feature may be there but I did not see it if it is.

2. Get text messages about the types of events that I am interested in that are happening that day. Now this will probably make me sad more than anything as I will rarely be able to go to any of them on short notice, but hey, you never now.

I doubt number 2 on the things they could do to make this events calendar better will ever happen. Main reason being is that it is expensive or could be expensive to send out texts to people and this is a free service to the community. Still, it would be pretty cool.
